Times Destiny
This is an AI image, sadly I cannot draw. This is a rough sketch of the theater from the opening scene of my debut novel—Times Destiny: Shadowverse.
Times Destiny is my dear-heart, my first book. I’ve written others with space pirates, witches, archangels and demons, werewolves and vampires, yet I keep coming back to Times Destiny.
The themes in Times Destiny resonate to my core.
Found family, meaning of humanity, time travel, faceless-ageless evil, accepting people for who they are and what they do. Family might begin at blood but it doesn’t end there. Realizing that despite our differences, all humans want the same things, love, friendship, acceptance, family, purpose. Isn’t it just nicer to focus on the plethora of things we share? Focus on unity! The world is only gloomy if you ignore the light!

Times Destiny: Shadowverse Blurb
Self-proclaimed kitchenette-witch Angie Wilson clocked out at the Rolling Rhino coffee house, ready for a night of comfy pants and Hot Pockets when a psychic vision showed a girl hunted by a shapeshifting Shadow. Now she's standing outside a haunted 19th century theater watching her boyfriend Cullen fiddle with a pulsey phasery gun from his starship. Cullen is big and doofy, but he treats her like a princess, and he opened her eyes to an ancient evil lurking beneath Manhattan. The Shadows invaded 21st century Earth to finish a war humanity began eons before Earth had formed. Enigmatic runes scattered across Manhattan hint humanity is not what it seems, and the powers Angie hid her whole life tether her to cosmic energies that forged the universe. When Angie discovers she's carrying Cullen's child, destiny and magicks are the last things on her mind.
Cullen lost both mothers and his brother in the war against the Shadows in the 61st century. He plunged into the past to save humanity, only to fall for a hot-tempered barista who can shred starships with her mind. When the Shadows launch a missile targeting Earth, Cullen pilots his antique starfighter to lure the missile into the Sun, knowing he may never return to Angie and their unborn child. Their fight gains unexpected allies: a smack-talking teenage physics prodigy, a tenacious Manhattan executive, a posh high school teacher, and a street savvy sandwich runner forming an unlikely but essential family. In a universe where loss shackles love across the ages, Angie Wilson knows sometimes the greatest magickal power is refusing to let go!
